The LDA is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization that has raised over $4.5 million dollars for Lyme disease research, prevention, and education.

The LDA has funded research projects from coast to coast and has had a number of its funded projects published in peer-reviewed literature.

Each year, federal employees can contribute to charities that meet the requirements of the CFC.
